SADE, Defined
Behind the Name
SADE (pronounced sah‑deh) is rooted in two languages we live between:
Turkish — “sade” means simple, plain, pure. Think: coffee without sugar, design without extras. That clarity is our north star.
Arabic (Levant/Gulf usage) — “sada/sadeh” is used for plain/without additions (like ahwe sada; unsweetened coffee, or a lawn sade; solid color). We also love the classical Arabic ṣadā (صدى) 'echo' as a metaphor for quiet care that lingers.
Our name is a promise: less noise, more substance.

A Note From Our Founder
'' live between flights, seasons, and time zones. Dubai humidity, airplane cabins, alpine wind and my skin felt every shift. I chased perfect routines, filled drawers with products, and still had flare‑ups. I kept returning to the minimal ritual I grew up watching: my grandmother’s sade approach - two or three thoughtful steps, consistent care, beautiful textures luminous skin without the fuss.
SADE grew from that contrast. We are that philosophy, updated for modern life and real climates. Over the last year, I worked closely with labs in Turkey and Korea; briefing, reformulating, patch‑testing, wearing the textures through real heat, long office days, and red‑eye flights. Every formula had to multitask without overwhelm: support the barrier, deliver deep hydration, and give daily protection; while feeling elegant on skin. Quiet‑luxury textures you’ll actually finish.
